My Story – The Art and Inspiration Behind Kallisae Arts

Hi, I’m Wendy — the hands and heart behind Kallisae Arts, a creative studio in the UK where I design and handcraft resin and acrylic art, elegant home décor, and meaningful gift pieces inspired by nature.

There is something about colour, light and movement that has always called to me. I find inspiration in the places I travel, the coastlines I walk, and the quiet moments spent outside where nature feels alive. Resin allows me to capture those feelings — the shimmer of a tide, the warmth of evening sun, the softness of petals, the quiet calm of morning light — and translate them into pieces that become part of someone’s home and life.

After retiring from a busy career in February at age 60, I finally had space to breathe… and in that space, something beautiful happened. I rediscovered my love for creating — the kind of art that lets your soul speak through colour, form, and flow.

What started as quiet creative play soon turned into a passion project that became Kallisae Arts — my sanctuary in the garden summerhouse, where I work (weather permitting), surrounded by nature, light, and calm. It’s where I pour resin, blend pigments, and turn natural textures into unique, luxurious art pieces.
